Diane, it’s March 30th and we’re entering Twin PK’s first and only season. Here’s your invitation to love them. Games are held at Robert Eaglestaff Middle School. Clean Place. Reasonably Priced. You want to hear about their goals? They don’t have any.
Their play on the field is dream-like, in that it doesn’t make sense. The goals are not what they seem. When someone is off-side their giant mascot simply says, “it is happening again.” When the ref gives them a card, they look at him like he’s talking backwards. If they score, it’s like they’re giving themselves a little present. Don’t plan it. Don’t wait for it. Just let it happen.
I have no idea where this season will lead us but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange.
And for our picture, we want this across it: Their secret weapon is a One-Eyed Jack as good as Minoungou.
